Built for owners who'd rather keep the margin
Where we start
Short-term rental hosts and small property managers give up 15–30% of revenue to a third-party manager — often the largest line item in the business. pepperAssist gives a single owner or a small team the leverage of a front desk, dispatcher, maintenance coordinator, and guest support rep, available 24/7, without hiring for each role.
How we think about the product
We augment the tools you already run — Lodgify, Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com — instead of replacing them. Those stay your systems of record for listings and bookings. pepperAssist does the manual work a property manager would otherwise do by logging into those tools directly: reading messages, checking availability, dispatching maintenance, escalating decisions that need a real owner.
Where it's headed
Long term, we want pepperAssist to be the operating system for property operations — and we're building the architecture so it can extend into adjacent, operationally similar industries (field services, medical scheduling, home services) without a rebuild. That's the direction, not something available today — right now pepperAssist is focused entirely on short-term rental hosts and small STR property managers.
Where we are right now
pepperAssist is pre-launch, onboarding a small group of hosts directly rather than open self-serve signup. The core product — unified inbox, AI guest assistant, approval-gated automation, maintenance dispatch, Lodgify sync — is live today; see the Features page for what's actually shipped versus what's coming.
